You may have noticed Member Savings numbers in your BJs.com account, on your receipt, or on signs in the clubs. Below is a breakdown of how these numbers are calculated.
- 25% off grocery store prices -- 25% savings is based on member pricing on a basket of 100 national brand household staples, on an unpromoted unit-price basis, when compared to four leading grocery chains in our trade areas. For more information visit BJs.com/25percentterms.
- Coupons & Instant Savings – shows how much you saved in this transaction by using coupons and instant savings.
- Member Savings – what you saved today by being a BJ's Member. This number is calculated by the 20% non-member surcharge you would have paid if you shopped as a non-member.
- Yearly Savings* – is your total Member Savings in the last 12 months. It is the total of the 20% surcharges you would have paid in the past year if you shopped as a non-member.
*Please note that this number is based on a rolling 12-month period.
